Dr Malak Sukkar
GAICD, BSN, MHSc, DBA
Malak is an innovative and strategic healthcare executive with 25 year of national and international leadership experience in strategic and operational management, business development and marketing in the public and private for-profit and not-for-profit health sectors.
Malak has previously held positions as Chief Strategy, Business and Development at Northern Health, Executive Director of Business Development and Infrastructure at St Vincent’s Health Australia and CEO with Healhe Care Australia. Malak has brought major and lasting development and partnership opportunities across industries such as primary care, specialist medical practices, hospitals, pathology, radiology and radiotherapy services to name a few.
Malak has a Doctorate in Business Administration from RMIT, with a background in Clinical and Applied Sciences in Health and Nursing. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Malak is the Vice Chair of South East Volunteers and CrimCheck Boards, Chair of the National ACU Peter Faber Business School Advisory Council, Chair of the Master of Health Administration Advisory Committee at La Tobe University and a founding member and former Board Secretary of the Australian Lebanese Medical Association. Malak is a member of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Dr Khalil Sukkar

Khalil has 25-years residential aged care management experience including hands-on clinical care, facility management, quality management and compliance, quality auditing, research, software development, tertiary teaching, and workforce development.
Khalil has managed more than 30 facilities across his career for several for-profit and not-for-profit organisations of various sizes across Australia. His experience includes facilities as small as 30 beds to as much as 200-plus beds, across single, multiple facilities and different jurisdictions.
Khalil has also led a variety of projects including commissioning and decommissioning of residential Aged Care Facilities and units, development of on-line teaching modules, staffing modules and software support modules.
